    1974 Honda CL360 barn find

I'll eat Humble Pie if I'm wrong, but isn't the CB360 a 180 degree crank engine? If so, through personal experience and then reading up on it later, single-carb set-ups on 180 degree twins don't work too well due to both cylinders pulling one right after the other? Again- my apologies if this is...

Just for fun, I bolted together all the leftover stuff on my parts shelf.

Nice work! The main weak spot on the Honda Clone engines is the rod, which you already have taken care of. (Usually the loudest voices for billet flywheels and the like, also happen to be the ones who sell them. OR, they "heard about" with no real data to back it up.) The motors are SAFE up to...

I think she'd like the 360. I used to have an old SL350 that was a hoot to ride around town.

WOW! That thing with a decent set of tires and once-going-over, THAT would be your Sweet-Handling Bike...No? Either way, CONGRATS!

    DR650 Cafe. Scratch Built Amelioration

The DR650 Bobber stands as an example of your keen eye for "Bike Beauty Follows Function"- so this should be one slick Cafe Racer!

The fact that these shops exist.

Definitely not in Salem. These guys barely keep current bikes in stock!

    Jerry's Follies

Hilarious, but true! Plus Honda 599's didn't exactly sell here by the tons- so dang.

    Jerry's Follies

I apologize for the silence/absence - Life is really steering me away from touching any projects. I'm not sure if this would be a good place to ask, but is it just me or the Battery Cover Right Side Thing on the 2006 Honda 599 ridiculously impossible to find?

    CG250 chonda

I'm afraid I will be no help to you on that. I have not physically gotten my mitts on any CG250-based bikes. I think your best line of inquiry is to go by the engine model # stamped on the case of your motor, then punch that into your favorite search engine, and a list of bikes/manufacturers...

    CG250 chonda

I think we're going to be seeing a lot more CG250 based rides showing up- at least that's my hope.

    FT500 Supermoto Hellride

You've done an amazing job on what is arguably my favorite group of bikes... the Super-Motos and Naked Streetfighters. Thank you for sharing!

    FZ600 resto-rescue?

Sooooo... after hole-ing yet ANOTHER tube, trying to mount my own rear tire (I used to be able to do this stuff, I swear!), a friend at work offered me an opportunity to help him clear his garage of this little Beauty. I paid barely more for this than the SR250. Some tank siphoning, carb bowl...

    V Star 650

This looks so COOL. And the seat looks great already! I really don't know what would be a good name. Before it was painted and had the rear fender mounted, I always thought it looked like the Terminator when his skin got burned off. (Really cool looking.) Awesome skills, Sir!

    FT500 Supermoto Hellride

So much nicer with the round headlight and fairing! The whole "Rectangle Headlight Because We Can Thing" was an UGLY styling period with both cars AND bikes.

    Jerry's Follies

Thanks! Obviously, I SUCK at this. I tried a WHOLE BUNCH of baby powder but all it did was make me smell funny and... oh... you meant on the TIRE...... ( :D ) Yeah, I knew I poked a hole in it when I could smell that "inner inner tube smell"... (TWICE. TWO tubes) . dang it. Just going to...
