Hey guys I am new around here, I want to lower my 1975 CB750 by getting the shorty shocks 11" is those 2" of difference will make other stuff to be modified? or is just as easy of taking off the stock 13" shocks and put on the new 11"?

Two inches is a pretty massive drop. You may run into fender/tire clearance issues. As far as installation its as simple as swapping the shocks. If you do run the 11" you may want to work on lowering the front end a hair as well.

Ok, yes I am going to get the fork to stick up at least 1 1/2" and I will use those to put some clip-on handle bars.

Ok well no major issues with chain length, I was worrying about that :-\

thanks for your feedback!

Don't be surprised if the chain needs modified. In effect, shorter shocks change more than just your swing arm to main cradle angle. My 250 Scrambler is running 2" longer Ceriani racing shocks, chain had 5 links added to it by a previous owner. Which was about 2 too many... My Savage bar hopper has 800 Intruder shocks, had to adjust the belt tension after the shock swap. Wife's 800 Intruder runs the original shocks off my Savage, but the drive shaft compensated for it automatically.

Shock length changes the arc the swing arm travels in. Don't know how to explain it, I'm neither a physicist or an engineer.
